The Time Travel ;)

It was a quiet yet busy place. People were always in a rush, yet never forget to lend a hand for help. It is a transit place for all the happy and sad stories to begin or end. It was the Airport. I was standing in that place with a fear of losing the luggage. I love the dresses in it. My parents were standing at the entry. I am sure they were ten times as terrified as I was. I asked them to chill but parents being parents.
Boarding, immigration and the security check are the three steps before you find your gate number. I finished the process in an hour. I was still processing everything then. Dear reader, you need to understand that this is my first international flight. Please don't judge. When we remember the difficult times we dealt with, we feel proud of how we survived. That day I realized that everything happens in a blink of an eye. We need time to process and reflect on it. We deal with things just like that. That's how I started my journey to San Fransisco. Nothing too fancy in particular.

The flight I boarded was nothing like a local flight. I was a little surprised that I can't climb steps but walked via a tunnel to enter the flight. If you ever see our PM walking down the steps from the flight on news channels, don't believe you won't go like that. There was a small fight between a family and some officers. They carried an additional bag for baby diapers. The officer did not allow it. I do not know what happened later. My mind had a title for this incident though "Wipes and Weeps....Wipes and Weeps". Just a side note all of this is happening in that tunnel I mentioned earlier. Yes, it's big.

The tunnel I was describing

The air hostess greeted me as I entered. Everyone looked damn hot and tall with bright red lipstick. I felt it difficult to put my carry-on luggage in the overhead space. I took an uncle's help who sat in the seat next to mine. Then I realized why there is a specific height requirement for air hostess interviews. It hit me hard that everything was happening. I was in between an old couple and a guy. I had a conversation with him about his travel. He said he is working at Intel and got his H1B this time. He asked about my travel purpose. I had a convo with the old couple as well. They are heading to SF. Yay, I found some company. I slept the entire journey of 4 hours to Dubai.
My halt was only two hours, I had only an hour to go to the gate number mentioned for my flight. I travelled via a couple of lifts, a couple of escalators, and a train to reach the gate. Yeah....sounds like quite a trip in itself.
I freshen up a little bit in the Dubai airport post-security check. I updated my friends and family about it. I met Priyanka there. She was in her pink top and jeans and looked like a student but a mother of a kid. She happened to be my partner in the 18-hour-long journey to San Fransisco. Coincidently, she works in the same company as I do but in a US branch. She was surprised to learn it was my first international trip because I looked confident. Honestly, I know how clumsy I was. She gave me some travel tips. We discussed opportunities in the company we worked.
Proof that Earth is called blue planet.👅👅

I got a seat next to the window seat. I forgot the name of the other girl who sat next to me. She looked like an Indian with an American accent. I watched a film and slept the whole time during the journey. The meal was good on the flight. Overall the dessert was delightful, the washrooms were awful, the air hostess was graceful, and the view from the plane was beautiful.
I landed in SF and heard from the cabin crew that there was an emergency for a passenger on the plane. We were asked to wait until the doctor addresses the issue. After thirty minutes, we were instructed to leave the plane. I finished the immigration, found my luggage and clicked a picture with Priyanka. She was so kind to give me her contact and asked me to give her a ring if there is any requirement. I am grateful for all the support I had already. I need to pay $8 for a trolly in SF. It was costly but I had to because the luggage was heavy. Then a cop called me and asked if I would help the old man by carrying his luggage to the meeting point. I offered a hand. I found out that he was from Egypt. His first question was if I was a Muslim, probably I looked like one. His family thanked me for the help. You know what the cop said, "You will be appreciated, ma'am", like the cops from English movies with an American accent.

Fact: Started on 22 March,2023 and reached on 22 March,2023 and its a 24hour journey. Hence the Time travel.
Disclaimer: If you DM me asking "Why I went to US", you might not get a reply. Its just a trip and not for the Masters :) I am an employee in Hyderabad.
